Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten is a 2007 documentary film directed by Julien Temple about Joe Strummer, the lead singer of the English punk rock band The Clash, that went on to win the British Independent Film Awards as Best British Documentary 2007. The film premiered 20 January 2007 at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. It was also shown at the Dublin Film Festival on 24 February 2007.

It was released in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2007 and in Australia on 31 August 2007. The film opened in limited release in the United States on 2 November 2007.

Tapi Misfits tetaplah Misfits, siapapun mereka yang ada di dalamnya adalah bagian dari sejarah horrorpunk itu sendiri. Dvd ini merupakan bagian dari album Project 1950 yang di rilis tahun 2003, yang semua lagunya adalah daur ulang lagu-lagu lawas dari tahun 1950 dan 1960. Album ini juga merupakan penanda bagi Jerry Only untuk memulai debutnya sebagai vokalis utama di Misfits. Jerry Only adalah satu-satunya personil asli Misfits dalam album ini, tidak ada personil lama yang ikut ambil bagian dalam album ini. Pengerjaan artwork cover album ini dilakukan oleh Tony Squindo.

The Oppressed is a Welsh anti-fascist Oi! band that formed in 1981 in Cardiff. Most of the musicians in the band's various lineups were skinheads. Throughout the band's career, the members (especially vocalist Roddy Moreno) openly expressed opposition to racism and fascism — in their lyrics, interviews, on-stage comments and other actions. In 1989, Moreno visited New York City and met many members of Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP). On his return to the United Kingdom, he started promoting SHARP ideals to British skinheads. The band has also had ties to other anti-racist groups, such as Anti-Fascist Action. Moreno is a Cardiff City F.C. supporter, and some of the band's songs express that support.The band has split and re-formed several times. Their more recent split was in 2006, but they re-formed
for a one-off gig in 2009, and will be performing around Europe in 2010 and 2011.

The Toy Dolls, the British punk-rock outfit, perform a two-and-a-half-hour show in Holland in 2004, a bravura performance for their possible final tour. THE TOY DOLLS are a wonderfully fun and talented band that unfortunately has been treated relatively like a novelty in the US. The band’s level of talent and cleverness are things that in general betray the label of “punk rock” and tracks like “Nellie the Elephant”, “Dig that Groove Baby”, “She Goes to Finos” and “I’ve Got Asthma” are classics that one can never get tired of. After two and half decades the band considers calling it quits, although they are far from “dried up has beens” and it would be a shame for them to cut short their continually growing legacy of consistently entertaining music.

This DVD release features excellent audio and video quality as 27 tracks are performed in Utrecht Tivoli, Holland. It’s an absolutely solid and enjoyable show that highlights the band’s humor and talent as they barrel through each track with the hyperactive energy of a young kid hopped up on sugar. Ever the showmen, the band breaks into several interesting cover song choices that seem completely out of place in their chosen genre yet pulled off spectacularly. Watching the band bust out “The Entertainer”, “Wipe out”, “When the Saints go Marching in”, or “Toccata” bring a smile to one’s face and prove there is much more to this band than it may seem on the surface.

Class of '99 was a short-lived alternative rock supergroup consisting solely of members from notable rock bands: Layne Staley of Alice in Chains as the vocalist, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine (and later Audioslave) on guitar, Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction as the drummer, bassist Martyn LeNoble of Porno for Pyros and with the help of Matt Serletic on keyboards.

These musicians collaborated to cover Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" parts 1 and 2 for the soundtrack to Robert Rodriguez's 1998 horror/sci-fi film, The Faculty. In 1999, the single of this song was released on the Sony International record label. It also contained versions of "Another Brick in the Wall" part 1 and "Another Brick in the Wall" part 2 by Class of '99, plus Stabbing Westward's "Haunting Me".

The "Another Brick in the Wall" part 2 video was directed by Jim Shea. While the other members of the band were filmed specifically for the video, Staley's appearance consisted of footage pulled from Mad Season's 1995 Live at the Moore video. The video aired for the first time in January 1999.

The name of the band is a reference to the movie Class of 1999 that was a similarly themed movie to The Faculty with robots instead of aliens.

The Toy Dolls are an English punk rock band formed in 1979. Departing from the angry lyrics and music often associated with punk rock, The Toy Dolls worked within the aesthetics of punk to express a sense of fun, with songs such as "Yul Brynner Was A Skinhead", "My Girlfriend's Dad's A Vicar" and "James Bond Lives Down Our Street." There is often alliteration in their song titles (e.g. "Peter Practice's Practice Place", "Fisticuffs in Frederick Street", "Neville is a Nerd"). They are probably best known however for their sole UK hit, a punk-rock cover of Nellie the Elephant.

Its a video from a great crust anarcho, crust band from new york that was born in the late '80's the days the NY scene blossomed and many great bands appeared, these dudes lived the days of Tompkins Square Riots and Squat or Rot gigs of Ralphy Boy (Jesus Chrust, Dissassociate), they toured in Europe and the States and released some records that are classic: Extinction lp(1990, Profane Existence), Cybergod 7" and Lie Circle 7"('93,Graven Image Records), they appeared also in compilations of Maximum Rock and Roll, Allied, and Vermiform. When Neil, founding member and vocalist walked away to form Jesus Chrust, Al Ternative of Misery joined the band.

The Clash: Westway to the World is a 2000 documentary film about the British punk rock band The Clash. In 2003 it won the Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video. Directed by Don Letts, the film combines old footage from the band's personal collection filmed in 1982 when The Clash went to New York with new interviews conducted for the film by Mal Peachey of members Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, Topper Headon, and Joe Strummer and other people associated with the group.

"Anarchy in the UK" was covered by American thrash metal band Megadeth for their third album So Far, So Good... So What!, released in 1988.

Notoriously, the song has incorrect lyrics. Dave Mustaine explained that he could not understand Johnny Rotten's singing, so he made up the parts he could not understand (in addition, the titular country is changed to "USA"). The song's music video is a montage of live footage of the band, cartoon political figures, various scenes of violence, & scenes of a guy being forced to watch (much like Alex's therapy in A Clockwork Orange). Steve Jones played the second solo of this song.

This is straight up, spazz grindcore in the vein of old Pig Destroyer with hints of Discharge. That means there are a lot of disjointed start/post passages, flat out blast beats with some choppy, abrasive segments in between. The vocals are a mix of nonsensical, indiscernible power-violence type screams and ear piercing upper midrange shrieks. The guitar tone, like the vocal style, is very sharp, indistinct and piercing while the drums and bass chug along beneath.
